Actions of the Board of Trustees

At its regularly scheduled quarterly meeting on February 22, 2012, the Authority Board of Trustees (Board) took the following actions:

• Approved the minutes of the December 8, 2011 regular meeting, as submitted.
• Adopted recommendations from Legal Counsel and Authority staff to proceed with negotiations with Mercer Investment Consulting, Inc. to finalize a Strategic Planning Service contract.
• Adopted a recommendation from Legal Counsel to authorize Authority staff to terminate the existing Invesment Management Agreement (IMA) currently in place with INVESCO (Fixed Contract Fund 3 manager) and adopt the proposed new IMA with INVESCO.
• Adopted a recommendation from Legal Counsel to terminate the current written proxy voting statement previously in place with Aon Investment Consulting, the Authority's previous mutual fund investment consultant.
• Approved a recommendation from Legal Counsel to proceed with the Authority's letter commenting on the proposed IRS regulation regarding the definition of "governmental plan" for the 401(k) and 457 plans.

• Set the next quarterly meeting date for Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 9:00a.m. at the Authority office, 101 Sea Hero Road, Suite 110, Frankfort, KY.
